Yarn integration at the edge

Many of my patterns have a solid side edge in the background colors. For an even transition from the two-color jacquard pattern to the side edge, the yarn of the pattern color is always integrated when knitting the first stitch of the side edge. This is also done at the beginning of the row, at the transition from the side edge to the two-color jacquard pattern.

The video shows this procedure using the example of „Tausendschön Schawl“. Here, additional stitches are knitted together at the edge because of the bias pattern. The pattern color here is brown, the background color is light purple. The brown thread is integrated by knitting the first edge stitch in light purple once under the brown thread and the next edge stitch again over it.
