tausendschön shawl
The „Tausendschön Shawl“ presents itself with a graceful purple-violet color composition and a pattern inspired by old oriental building decorations. With its diagonal structure, it is knitted from the bottom up and in one piece. The challenge for me was to represent this floral and complex jacquard pattern in a diagonal shape.

Size with fringes: 206 cm length x 45 cm width
Size without fringes: 190 cm length x 45 cm width
Yarn: 550 g Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) – 10 different colors (the usage with and without fringes is specifically indicated)
Skill level: for experienced jacquard and Fair Isle knitters
Needles: 1 circular knitting needle – 3 mm/ UK 11/ US 2 ½; 1 crochet hook – 2 mm; 1 auxiliary knitting needle – between 2.5 mm – 3 mm
