From beautiful accessories you can never have enough, especially if they are knitted yourself. A hat or a pair of mittens are quickly finished and always also a great gift. All my models are designed from 6, 8 or 10 different colors Spindrift from Jamieson’s of Shetland. At the same time, my patterns are somewhat more complex than Fair-Isle or many jacquard patterns. Fortunately, the amount of yarn given for a hat pattern is usually also sufficient for mittens, so a nice set can be created.

Shetland wool gets softer with use, and Spindrift’s unique colors let creativity run wild. If mittens or hat are to be a bit larger, you can also knit with the somewhat stronger sport yarn Double Knitting from Jamieson’s of Shetland, which is available in the same color palette as the fingering weight yarn Spindrift.
