gentle Summer Breeze
The lace shawl „Gentle Summer Breeze“ is a play with elements of Scottish and Estonian lace knitting tradition and designed with an interesting bias pattern.
The shawl is first knitted in two identical pieces, which are then seamlessly joined in the middle by two triangular sections. Finally, you cast on stitches at both ends of the shawl and knit a border.
„Gentle Summer Breeze“ is also part of my E-Book „Zauberland“ along with 8 other beautiful models.
The shawl is knitted from a very fine angora yarn with a comparatively large needle size. This creates a particularly delicate and airy structure. It looks great with different yarns, but the expressive lace pattern is especially effective with light yarns.
Since the pattern is quite challenging, I recommend it to experienced lace knitters.
