The cushion cover „Venetian Beauty“ has a different filigree jacquard pattern motif on the front and back, inspired by ancient carpet embroidery from Asia Minor. The pattern and the golden color on a light background are reminiscent of the playful art in Venice, so this model was named „Venetian Beauty“.
The cuddly cover was knitted from a soft baby alpaca fingering yarn. First, two separate pieces are made. Then pick up stitches over all 4 sides and work a striped edge in the round. Finally, both pieces are crocheted together, working a pillow opening.
„Venetian Beauty“ is also part of my E-Book „Midsummer“ along with 8 other beautiful models.
