Pearl of Orient

The beautiful inlay decoration of oriental buildings in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) inspired me for the design of „Pearl of Orient“. Golden-yellow colors combined with turquoise-blue were also very popular in old European painting and have a noble look. The yarn for this gorgeous piece comes from Jamieson’s of Shetland with their unmatched color palette.

This elegant shawl is knit flat from the bottom up in one piece (not in the round). To finish crochet a narrow border over both ends.

„Pearl of Orient“ is also part of my E-Book „Zauberland“ along with 8 other beautiful models.
