Midsummer
The shawl „Midsummer“ gracefully reflects the mood in the late summer of my hometown. The expressive and complex jacquard pattern is inspired by historic embroidery from Asia Minor. I selected 10 colors of Jamieson’s of Shetland yarn Spindrift, which harmoniously combine the colors of the sky and the landscape.
„Midsummer“ is knit flat from the bottom up in one piece (not in the round). When finished, 4 tassels are made and attached to the corners.
