indian summer
The idea for the Shawl „Indian Summer“ comes from colorful batik fabrics from Africa and elements of oriental carpet embroidery. The shawl is knitted from 4 different colors of the fingering yarn Spindrift from Jamieson’s of Shetland. Fringes are attached to the ends as a highlight.
„Indian Summer“ is knit flat from the bottom up in one piece (not in the round). It is also part of my E-Book „Midsummer“ along with 8 other inspiring models.
