flying dolphin cowl
The double face Cowl „Flying Dolphin“ is knitted from soft Shetland yarn from Jamieson’s of Shetland. The inspiration for this color combination is, like the „Flying Dolphin Scarf“, based on the painting „Anna Selbdritt“ by Leonardo da Vinci (created around 1503 – 1519).
The cowl is made in two steps. First, the diagonally patterned inside is knitted flat. Then stitches are picked up on one long edge, and the jacquard-pattern outside is knitted in the round. Finally, sew the inside and outside together by hand.
„Flying Dolphin“ is also part of my E-Book „Grassland“ along with 8 other beautiful models.
